Install the Client (Windows)

Install the QuantumAuth Client on Windows. The recommended method is via winget. You can also install manually from GitHub Releases.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or newer (64-bit)
  • Administrator privileges
  • Internet connection

Installation

We recommend installing QuantumAuth using winget. If winget is not available, you can download the installer manually.

Install with winget (recommended)

Winget installs QuantumAuth using the official Windows package manager and keeps it up to date.

Open a PowerShell window as Administrator.

winget install quantumauth-io.QuantumAuth

Install from GitHub Releases

If winget is not available, download the installer from GitHub and run it manually.

Download the latest Windows installer.

https://github.com/quantumauth-io/quantum-auth-client/releases

Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. Windows may show a security warning because the app is new.

Notes

  • Windows may display a SmartScreen warning for new applications. This does not mean the app is unsafe.
  • The QuantumAuth Client installs system-wide and may modify your PATH.
  • Keep the client running while using the browser extension.
